Rick Snyder, who is infamous for signing Michigan’s “right to work” bill into law, is reportedly looking at charges for his involvement in the Flint water scandal.

The Associated Press broke the news via a one-sentence story, stating: “The AP has learned ex-Michigan Gov. Snyder and others have been told they’re being charged in Flint water scandal.”

The water crisis has been a disaster for the city of Flint. According to Wikipedia, “Between 6,000 and 12,000 children were exposed to drinking water with high levels of lead.[2] The water supply change was considered a possible cause of an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in the county that killed 12 people and affected another 87, but there is no evidence of a clear link.[15]“

Good; about time!

What exactly did he do, or didn't do? The article is pretty vague.

From what I understand, the fundamental accusation is that he knew about the problem and lied about it and tried to cover it up. Also, there were allegations of corruption. Here is an article from a while back:

We should do what the Chinese do and hang him if he is found guilty.

When Biden accepted Synder's endorsement, it was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

Yeah, this sort of stuff it is usually the reaction to the problem, not being part of the reason the problem occurred.

Former Gov. Snyder charged with two counts of willful neglect

The Associated Press is reporting former Governor Rick Snyder, whose administration was responsible for switching Flint’s water source from Detroit to the Flint river, is being charged with two counts of willful neglect of duty.

The ultimate result of that switch created the Flint water crisis, in which around 100,000 residents ended up drinking water contaminated with lead.

In March of 2016, in testimony before Congress, Snyder called the crisis “a failure of government at all levels: local, state, and federal officials. We all failed the families of flint.”

According to his attorney Brian Lennon, Snyder will be arraigned Thursday.

Ex-Michigan health chief charged with manslaughter in Flint

FLINT, Mich. (AP) — Michigan’s former health director was charged Thursday with involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of nine people who got Legionnaires’ disease during the Flint water crisis as prosecutors revisit how the city’s water system was contaminated with lead and bacteria during one of worst human-made environmental disasters in U.S. history.

Nick Lyon pleaded not guilty during an appearance in a Genesee County court. Moments later, his old boss, former Gov. Rick Snyder, also pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of willful neglect of duty in Flint.

They were among several people summoned to court to face charges, the result of a renewed 19-month investigation launched by the attorney general's office after Dana Nessel, a Democrat, was elected.

The charges against Snyder carry up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine upon conviction. No governor or former governor in Michigan’s 184-year history had been charged with crimes related to their time in that office, according to the state archivist.

Maybe Biden will pardon him!?!?

I don't think so.

Weird headline. What does mishandling water have to do with not forcing workers to join a union as a condition of employment?

It was a bit of a non-sequitor. But not that hard to understand.

Snyder doesn't care about his constituents as much as his donors. From the blue collar workers to the little kids, Snyder doesn't care about the little people in Wisconsin as much as he does the rich folks who "donate". Snyder has made that clear.

Now that's a problem for him. Oops.

Weird objection. Why wouldn't taking money from lobbies for screwing constituents be relevant to another instance of taking money from lobbies to screw constituents?
