Russia propaganda isn't very good

Really now, using video game footage to "prove" we are aiding ISIS?

(And it's not the first time they've used stuff from video games, either.)

That's what they want you to think. And they have succeeded. Now you are primed to accept their good stuff as real, because you "know" that if it was propaganda it would be shoddy and obvious.

Or perhaps there's no Russian propaganda here at all - but you have successfully been duped into becoming a vector for some cunning advertising by Byte Conveyor Studios for their AC130 simulator game.

The problem with lies is that they are under no obligation to be simple, obvious, or in any way related to their apparent target or purpose.

Oh yeah? Let's see you buy a presidential election with $100,000 in facebook ads.

Plus 100s of fake twitter accounts (free).

Plus 100s of fake facebook accounts (free).

Accounts made to look like JoethePlumber but run by trolls in Macedonia spoofing their IP through bum fuck middle of nowhere Australia. Accounts run by bots that re-broadcast propaganda from bullshit news sources 24/7. Fake accounts organizing rallies between adversaries. The sharing and re-tweeting is far more consequential than the ads that were purchased.

Their best propaganda by far is the amplification of fuckwits like Mike Adams ("The Health Ranger"), Richard Spencer, Alex Jones, etc... They don't need to produce their own material. They just hand a megaphone to the crazies and the assholes and the racists whether it is in the US, Brexit, France, Austria, Germany, etc...
