SarahPAC could quite easily wimper to an end after this election cycle. She only has $170k in the bank, and with her travel lifestyle and high payments for consultants, she will have a hard time having to write her own speeches, flying coach, renting her own car, and staying at the Holiday in... A year ago, she had $560k in her PAC.

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) Sarah Palin's political action committee raised just under $150,000 during the last fundraising quarter, far less than it brought in during the same period in the last three election years.

September 1, 2010 - "During the campaign, Palin lashed out at the slightest provocation, sometimes screaming at staff members and throwing objects. Witnessing such behavior, one aide asked Todd Palin if it was typical of his wife. He answered, “You just got to let her go through it… Half the stuff that comes out of her mouth she doesn’t even mean.” When a campaign aide gingerly asked Todd whether Sarah should consider taking psychiatric medication to control her moods, Todd responded that she “just needed to run and work out more.” Her anger kept boiling over, however, and eventually the fits of rage came every day. Then, just as suddenly, her temper would be gone. Palin would apologize and promise to be nicer. Within hours, she would be screaming again. At the end of one long day, when Palin was mid-tirade, a campaign aide remembers thinking, “You were an angel all night. Now you’re a devil. Where did this come from?”

The intensity of Palin’s temper was first described to me in such extreme terms that I couldn’t help but wonder if it might be exaggerated, until I heard corroborating tales of outbursts dating back to her days as mayor of Wasilla and before. One friend of the Palins’ remembers an argument between Sarah and Todd: “They took all the canned goods out of the pantry, then proceeded to throw them at each other. By the time they got done, the stainless-steel fridge looked like it had got shot up with a shotgun. Todd said, ‘I don’t know why I even waste my time trying to get nice things for you if you’re just going to ruin them.’ ” This friend adds, “As soon as she enters her property and the door closes, even the insects in that house cringe. She has a horrible temper, but she has gotten away with it because she is a pretty woman.” (The friend elaborated on this last point: “Once, while Sarah was preparing for a city-council meeting, she said, Im gonna put on one of my push-up bras so I can get what I want tonight.’ That’s how she rolls.”)

It's difficult to get campaign contributions when you don't have a campaign. It's a testament to Trumpnation that she is able to get a penny out of anyone after not holding office for more than 6 years.

But, one doesn’t need to be running for an office to feed off the gravy train of shucking people out of money in the name of a cause. Poor Sarah just doesn't seem to be able to play with the bigger leeches...

Though now slipping in donations, the National Organization for Marriage president Brian Brown was pulling in a cool half million a year selling hate. They don’t file much, and fight revealing their internal workings, so his current compensation could have changed. But he recently put out a letter sniveling about his members poor support of his lifestyle.

Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, though only gets $220,000. Not a back take for a political has been. The FRC at least plays by the standard charity disclosure from www.charitynavigator.org.
