If Muslims are allowed to live in European countries, then we allow them the same rights as non Muslims. But of course churches, mosques won't stop or increase hatred. The Christians value churches where God's sheep can meet to adore the lord and kiss the priest's ring after confession (or before).

As for weapons I suppose the Russian fans were able to find some metal bars etc but I would have thought a check of their baggage more carefully at border checkpoints may have identified some of these items. There again there are no laws against wearing over-sized rings.
