More and more people in Europe are beginning to believe that a god -- not evolution -- shaped life on Earth and there are no signs this development will stop.

I think it might be proving difficult to remove the notion that humans were designed.
People apparently like to think they are special despite the evidence that says we hold no special privilege in the universe.

I dunno.
For years, every time the creationists get one scientist to say 'Okay, yeah, maybe,' they crowed that creationism is 'on the rise.' How many %'s in 'on the rise? A threatening amount or a just barely noticable, if you squint, amount?

Well, now, that's true. A subset of 2% is doubled if it rises to 4%, but it's still penny-ante. The feminist movement did some data manipulation like that, some years back.
