The Kavanaugh nomination has put Senator Collins in the public eye big time. There are a number of political analysts who think she may not run for re-election in 2020. Already a Go Fund Me effort has been set up any Democratic Opponent that may challenge her if she caves and votes to seat Kavanaugh.

She has already drawn an opponent. A woman doctor named Cat London. Unhappy with Senator Collins on health care issues. This is going to be interesting to watch. She obviously wants to get an early start to gain name recognition.

Now we need a Ditch The Mitch effort for Mitch McConnell who also is going to have to run for re-election in 2020.
