I was thinking about the fact that many people like the fact that they think Trump is "sticking it to the man" with his oh so cool anti-PC telling it like it is ways.

What I am trying to do in this post is to say to those people (who are likely very few on this board) is that Trump's character flaws and previous manipulative and unethical actions are so massive that even if you fully agree with his anti-PC crusade (which is mostly a gimmick and easily confused with his narcissism) you are looking up to a guy who will fuck you over six ways from Sunday.

I am avoiding talking about how corrupt and shit Hillary is, because that is not the point.

We need a cool, calm and white grandfatherly figure to calm these people down about Trump while exposing his character flaws, like Walter Cronkite or a Morley Safer (RIP) a "white whisperer" if you will. But nobody in the media is trusted like that any more.

And this is coming from me, who is fully closed borders and massively anti Black Lives Matter and so on...

What I get from this post is Clinton is bad, the media can't be trusted, and you agree with Trump's policy positions.

Trump has any policy positions? As to repoman, I could be wrong but it sounds to me like he does not agree with Trump, either.

Which is ironic considering Trump is trying to BE "the man".

Trump has so many bad traits it's hard to know where to start. Start with his penchant for lying. His self described demagoguery, he has the be "interesting", he promises he'll be "presidential" later, when elected. His bad economics positions which will bury us in debt. His turning over to right winged groups like Heritage Foundation the choosing of judgeships. Do we really want somebody who repeatedly uses crude insults to demean his political opponents to be president for at least 4 years, listening to crap like this all that time? Divison rather than reasonableness. He is not an inspiring man in that regard.

Why is anti-PC rhetoric "oh so cool"?

Perhaps because more and more people feel emboldened by the hashtag mantra that's been dished out to them for the past 10 years - tolerance, acceptance, diversity, lean in, occupy, LGBTIQXYZ, je suis somethingorother.

And after a while you get to the point where you realise that if you need to 'tolerate' them, then they need to tolerate you. #no_apologies

Check your privilege? Nope. I was born this way.

Hate speech? Nope. You hate me more than I hate you.

You need to be a misogynist and asshole to consider Trump's statements regarding Megan Kelly's menstruation and him mocking a disabled reporter, respectively.

right, because ethnic and cultural minorities who are being actively repressed both socially and legally are the ones who should be held accountable for keeping their attitude in check and not letting their fight for equal status upset the uninvolved mainstream of the majority populace.

This is quite funny for it's blindness.

One thing you can say for Trump...he gets bankruptcies done! When it becomes America's turn he will be right there cancelling Social Security payments so he can pay off the debt. It is odd how ignorant he appears to be. Does anybody know if he ever went to school?

People who have a track record for acting solely in their own self interest shouldn't necessarily reflect how they will perform in a capacity that brings such a vastly different set of demands. He may have originally set out to improve his own well being without complete regard for the issues that come with taking on the responsibilities of a presidency.

I lived in New York for years. I've known about Trump for a long time.

He's a salesman.

Nothing more.
