There are women that support Cruz (don't ask me how, I cannot say). There are women that are extremely attracted to men with power positions (say what you will, but he is a Senator and is now running for President - that represents power). I'm not at all surprised he would have mistresses.

The only real problem I have with this story is the quantity. As these things go, five is a very big number for a group of women who are willing to engage in an illicit affair with a man, and not one of them feel jealous and betrayed when the others were revealed.

As a mod on various social forums, one of the things which always puzzled me was the compartmentalization of jealousy. We don't have a lot of that sort of thing of TFT, but there are places where some people create intense emotional relationships with other people they may never meet face to face. It happens.

What is bizarre about it is that a woman or man, maybe perfectly content with the knowledge that their online lover sleeps with a spouse every night, but gets intensely jealous if they suspect a second online lover.

It stretches the limits of credulity to think five women could find Ted Cruz attractive enough to engage in meaningless no strings attached casual sex, and have no emotional attachment, or feel like they had some kind of exclusive relationship.

When this is combined with the fact that women always talk about these things with their friends(Yes, always. Trust me on this one) this means there would be another five or more women who have knowledge of the affairs. After that, the increase is exponential.

It's still possible, but it would require Ted Cruz to be better than is humanly possible.

There is nothing to indicate some of these women were plants, meant to take him down either. He would have to be the biggest idiot of all time if he fell for it.

i just heard something interesting: Cruz's proxies may have attacked Melania so that when the NE story came out (they knew it was) it would look like revenge from Trump.

My feeling too. Nobody on Cruzship has directly and unambiguously denied these accusations, I think there is a reason for that and that reason NE is right.
