I thought it was pretty good, and them getting money for just being gay was maybe a bit too much but not really.

I'd never heard of it until then, but being that I know nothing about Japanese animation, that isn't surprising. So far this season's been really good, but this one wasn't one of the best. It seemed like a forced effort to use obscure Japanese animation as a vehicle to satirize the current PC culture that embraces the idea that everything that isn't white male hetero is worthy of overenthusiastic celebration. And South Park is usually good at sending up all aspects of American culture. This one just seemed to miss the mark a little.

South Park seems a little too preachy for my tastes currently. It's not my thing.

I don't like how this season is a continuing, serial story. I don't like soaps.
