SpongeBob was a big part of my childhood. Great show. I bet I'm the only person here who's watched it, however. :p

I was already an adult when it came out, but I still loved SpongeBob for a good number of seasons. One of the great animated shows of all time.

Spongebob was way after my time, but I don't begrudge people the things they geek out over. (Clutches Ghost in the Shell DVD collection to chest.)

My son is a bit older than you but I loved watching it with him, and wasn't above sitting down to watch it when he wasn't there, either.

Another one just as good was Rugrats.

It beat my expectations. In other words it passed the daddy stay awake factor used in grading kid movies.

That was about my era. I watched that show a lot. Looks like it was in production between 1991 and 1994 so I would have been between 5 - 9 years old.

One Saturday Morning was also a big one I used to watch, with Recess and Doug. Looks like that aired between 1997 and 2002.

Funny how I have memories of these shows but no recollection of how old I was at the time. Just wake up on Saturday morning, have breakfast, then plonk down in front of the TV.
