The need to post little standard disclaimers at the end of entertainment vids is a universal phenomenon across the Federation and neighboring interstellar institutions. At least for those civilizations that developed recorded entertainments and lawyers.

What is not universal are the disclaimers. Some common examples from around the quadrant:

Terran: No animals were eaten during the filming of this episode.

Klingon: Lots of people were harmed during the filming of this episode.

Vulcan: Due to time constraints, fully realized logical steps may appear compressed by editing. No intuitive leaps were made during the filming of this episode.

Klingon: Lots of people were also hurt during post-production editing of this episode.

Packleds: We didn't mean hurt Tol during filming of episode. But did. Now, it funny as hell. We be sure hurt Tol on future episode of 'Can Tol Cross Busy Street?'

Klingon: And distribution of this episode was something of a bloodbath. But they were all without honor, we swear on our Father's blades!

Gorn: No vegetables were consumed during the filming of this episode. Ew.

Kzinti: One tomato was consumed during the filming of this episode. On a dare. A marrow-wine related incident. We didn't ask Ch'thoo to do that, in fact we begged him not to. Fucking movie stars.

Klingon: The pitch meeting for this episode has inspired an opera. Catch "Glory To Our Writers And Death To All Soulless Accountants" this Winterfest!
