Terrorists take over federal Building, threaten violence

What I keep wondering about is what is the Right response to clowns like these guys. I pointed out that if this were the ME, our government would just send in a drone. That of course is not appropriate here...or in fact in the ME. Should our government protect various wildlife species from the grazer, the miners, etc. etc.? I think yes, but how to do it when we have groups like this one that showed up in Eastern Oregon.
They were a group of mentally unstable people.

Because lord knows no country-raised white man would ever perform a brazen criminal/terrorist act unless he was "mentally unstable." They're not bad people, really... they just need a little help.:innocent1:

Whadda he think he was? A black teen on his was back from buying Skittles?

3 squares and a bed in Kansas.

In prison, you get two meals and a sack lunch. And it ain't that good. And if you're a bad boy, Nutaloaf!

MM, MMM good!

Prison Loaf, sometimes called Nutraloaf, disciplinary loaf, food loaf, confinement loaf, seg loaf, or special management meal,[1] is a food served in United States prisons to inmates who have misbehaved in various ways; for example, assaulting prison guards or fellow prisoners.[2] It is similar to meatloaf in texture, but has a wider variety of ingredients. Prison loaf is usually bland, perhaps even unpleasant, but prison wardens argue that nutraloaf provides enough nutrition to keep prisoners healthy without requiring utensils to be issued.[3]

They don't use that stuff in federal prisons.

Hasn't it been called a cruel and unusual punishment, too?

Not exactly, but it is advocated by yahoos like Arapaio which made me immediately suspicious of it.

Some states definitely require strict controls around how it's used. VT, for example, requires a hearing as well as regular checks by a doctor during the period a prisoner is fed it - and only after other interventions have been tried.

Apparently it ain't used in federal penitentiaries. Wussies! On the other hand, some prisons find it makes prisoners far more likely to behave. If that makes a surly asshole behave, serve 'em loaf! A society that serves loaf is a polite society.

How come Trump and others have not come out and talked about setting up a database on everyone who feels like these clowns?

How come Trump and others have not come out and talked about setting up a database on everyone who feels like these clowns?
how come no one wanting to be a statesman has shown up in Oregon to talk these fools out of their occupation?

Or join them?

Yeah. A white Action Jackson. Muscle pure titanium, brain of lead, not sure of purity.
Whadda he think he was? A black teen on his was back from buying Skittles?

No I think he was a middle aged white crack head wearing a cowboy hat. Race has nothing to do with the construct Action Jackson.

The real problem is when are we going to get back to preserving the habitat for the sake of the wildlife. I am completely amazed that these fully grown men have allowed themselves to move into action figure roles in defiance of national wildlife preservation efforts. The guy that got gunned down earned what he got by being a bit slow on the draw. What did he think would happen when he reached for his gun?

They're cowboys. You wanna mess up the heads of people who are fans of Skipalong Rosenbloom the real square shooter?

You don't inform on people like that. You bring your can of corn, buy some candy and popcorn, sit in the front row , throw stuff, and watch him with 17 cartoons and two Sky King episodes on Saturday morning.

Latest reports from the front, there are 4 left at the refuge and the FBI has apparently jammed their cell phones and access to the net. No more You Tube cat videos. Meanwhile small roving packs of Johnny-Come-Lately die hards are staging short little protests, then disbanding and popping up elsewhere, irritating the locals.

The circus continues. No messages from the dildos.

Hopefully the dildos will be forwarded to their new location. I'm sure they can use those as money, just like cigarettes.

"Do me a favor, i'll pay you a dildo... No, wait. I have the dildo, i don't need a favor. Fuck off, dude."

Instead of trying to shoot after pretending to surrender he should have gone within arms reach of the policeman's weapons then disarmed and beat them up. That always works on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and those agents have far more training and tactical skill than ordinary police or FBI.

I think his far best tactic would have been to surrender, then taunt the judge in court, then spend his time in prison writing about how many cops sneaked into the refuge during the night where he beat them to death in hand-to-hand combat in the dark, burying their bodies in the cold-cold ground where they'd never be found, forcing the Feds into a daylight arrest where they had a chance to survive. And how they covered up all the dead agents they cannot locate.

And close the last chapter with "The FBI will, of course, deny the facts of the matter and will pressure my publisher into releasing this book as fiction."

And the Oregon State Police, who shot him. It really is sad how something so peaceful ended up in such a way.
