Terrorists take over federal Building, threaten violence

So far the Occupy Oregon folk did not kill anybody. Neither cops nor their own they suspected of working with cops.

Are you saying that you allow these militants to divorce themselves from all their brethren who HAVE committed crimes? They all fly that Gadsden flag, they all carry that same pocket constitution, they all spout the same militant bullshit phrases. They even use the same group names. But because (reasons) they aren't accountable for the actions of their brethren, not like all the black panthers are?

That's so weird.

These dozen here are not the only members of their movement. Others have destroyed property, stolen money and, yes, murdered. In the names of the same phrases as these people use.

One wonders, if they are able to get mail delivery (AND WHY ARE THEY!???) why they don't just order their own damn snacks from Amazon.

They are "laying down their lives" to take back 'Merika, you can't expect them to lay out their cash as well, can you?

Good point. They need their dough for the afterlife.

Because it's awkward for them to order penis-shaped snacks themselves. However, if someone else orders it for them, they can say "Oh my God, this is so rude and terrible ... but, you know ... we have to eat, I guess", then they can have as much as they want. Now that they've figured out how to get themselves an unlimited supply of penis-shaped candy, they're golden.

That's brilliant. Truly, they are playing 3D chess while I'm scribbling with crayons.

Athena, your Black Panthers also murdered people and committed other crimes.
They even tortured and murdered one of their own.
Whitewashing the Black Panthers'

Yeah...true, but tasty snacks can make up for a lot.

Can you show me citation of that?

Have any citation for that?

I am using the news we have all seen over the years when we see people claiming that the government is too big and doesn't own or have authority or is overreaching, etc. They all use the same words.

I personally would not include the racist attacks, although some might argue they should be included, but in my thought above they are not. So no Charleston, no Sikh Temple, no Jewish Center murders are included in my comparison.

I'm using Rdolph, who was celebrated and hidden by supporters. I'm using McVeigh, the shooter of Gabby Giffords and 6 others, the Blooming Grove police shooting, the FEAR group in Georgia (was that killing one of their own? The two were killed "to protect the groups identity...), the st. John's Parish Police Ambush.

Here's a citation of some of the murders, again I mentally subtracted out those I don't see as part of the same group of "anti-government" terrorists that this Oregon bunch ascribes to.

There are many more threats and attempts such as the Bundy Ranch where loaded weapons were aimed at Federal Agents

For the thefts there are myriad cases of the Sovereign Citizens stealing and theiving, not the least of which is Bundy's theft of $1,000,000 in grazing fees, along with all the others taking vehicles, property and and refusing taxes.

You know them. You've seen them. many of them carry a flag - the Gadsden flag usually, although they are starting to use this III flag as well.

And besides, any who committed crimes should be prsecuted to the full extent of the law and not glorified like Panthers are being glorified.

I agree that the individuals need to be prosecuted and the organization needs to decide if it was sanctioned or not - publicly.

That's what glorification of violent extremist looks like. I do not think any of these guys are going to be given bogus professorships anytime soon.

I do not know the stories of those you name, and who is glorifying them (the above meme does not, except to the extent that the group as a whole remembered snacks.)

And how is that showing they are connected?
Besides, those on the right fringe who commit crimes get punished for it. They do not get professorships.

So when are they going to cut the electricity on these people? I thought they were going to do it days ago. Or have they decided to let these thugs continue demonstrate what fools they are? They do seem to be their own worst PR.

Probably keeping it up so they can return all the incoming fake penises they are about to receive from Amazon.

I think somebody said they can't turn electricity off because they are afraid water in pipes will freeze and rupture.

I can't think of anything worse they could do to the militia.... Except maybe bug the buildings and put the audio on the internet.
Probably someone could just hack into the computer itself and watch what they are doing on the computer. Be cool if they had a mic on the computer that was accessible.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Texas...

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/01/ant...g-militant-buddy-in-drunken-dispute-over-gun/

Planning for a cross-country march to “restore America” — which is related to the Oregon nature preserve standoff — appears to have hit a snag when one of its organizers shot the other co-founder Monday afternoon during a drunken argument over a gun. Sheriff’s deputies in Grayson County, Texas, have not released details about the fatal shooting, but social media posts by right-wing “patriots” associated with militants occupying an Oregon nature preserve identified the victim and shooter as the organizers of the Paul Revere 2016 Final March To Restore America.

The federal government has a multi-trillion dollar budget. I'm pretty sure we can afford to fix busted pipes.

The expense would be worth it in this case.

Hey, the money is in carefully laid out piles. You can't just shift money from one important pile to a less important pile. You have to figure out and plan ahead and convince an ever-more-uncooperative hierarchy of authority figures to pay for burst water pipes.

It's not like you can launch a drone from those water pipes.

My experience indicates otherwise. Most of the budget goes to Social Security, the military, and fixing the busted pipes inside the elderly.

It's not the pipes... it's the data that the burst pipes would destroy that has a high (enough) value to cause pause.

Ever deal with a busted heating pipe in your own home? no big deal to just replace the pipes, right? big deal to replace all the belongings that get ruined... and how much money is that only awesome photograph of your wedding worth.. $80 worth of copper? doubt it.

Oh, and remotely accessing a computer that you already have accounts on, and turning on the built-in mic and camera, and monitoring all user activity on it, is absolutely trivial. I would assume it was done already, and that they are not so stupid as to announce that. Spectorsoft 360 is an example of software that does this, and it can be remotely deployed. Maybe it is running your computer right now and you have no idea. How much does your spouse trust you? Are you sure?

But it would be fun to listen to on YouTube.

Captain Moroni: Looks kind of cloudy out there.
Ammon Bundy: Probably a Psi-ops clouds.
Captain Moroni: True, the chem trails have increased since we got here.
Ammon Bundy: You hear that they think they may have detected gravitational waves at the LIGO facility?
Captain Moroni: No shit really?
Ammon Bundy: It's all preliminary, and of course, the media reports it right away as fact.
Captain Moroni: Fucking mainstream media! But seriously, gravitational wave detection. That is huge!
Ammon Bundy: Tell me about it. It can help confirm a bit more of Einstein's relativity and maybe give us a look into some of the processes occurring millions of light years from us.
Captain Moroni: Any idea when they'll announce if there is something to talk about?
Ammon Bundy: No, just a vague, "soon".
Captain Moroni: Hmm.

You know, maybe not that entertaining after all.

I'm sure the Feds are on it.

Gawd. Can you imagine how boring it would be to be one of the FBI guys assigned to this case? It would almost be enough to make having fucked your boss's wife not worthwhile.

Tim Puckett, the rancher whose cattle graze private rangeland adjoining the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, said he didn't give Ammon Bundy and his band of armed militants permission to enter the ranch Monday afternoon and destroy a publicly owned fence.

"I am very upset," Puckett told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

His ranch hands have already repaired the fence.

"They're not coming onto my place no more," he said of the militants. "If they do, I'm gonna have to do something about it. I don't want them going across my ground."
