Are you saying that you allow these militants to divorce themselves from all their brethren who HAVE committed crimes? They all fly that Gadsden flag, they all carry that same pocket constitution, they all spout the same militant bullshit phrases. They even use the same group names. But because (reasons) they aren't accountable for the actions of their brethren, not like all the black panthers are?
Can you show me citation of that?
These dozen here are not the only members of their movement. Others have destroyed property, stolen money and, yes, murdered. In the names of the same phrases as these people use.
Have any citation for that?
I am using the news we have all seen over the years when we see people claiming that the government is too big and doesn't own or have authority or is overreaching, etc. They all use the same words.
I personally would not include the racist attacks, although some might argue they should be included, but in my thought above they are not. So no Charleston, no Sikh Temple, no Jewish Center murders are included in my comparison.
I'm using Rdolph, who was celebrated and hidden by supporters. I'm using McVeigh, the shooter of Gabby Giffords and 6 others, the Blooming Grove police shooting, the FEAR group in Georgia (was that killing one of their own? The two were killed "to protect the groups identity...), the st. John's Parish Police Ambush.
Here's a citation of some of the murders, again I mentally subtracted out those I don't see as part of the same group of "anti-government" terrorists that this Oregon bunch ascribes to.

There are many more threats and attempts such as the Bundy Ranch where loaded weapons were aimed at Federal Agents
For the thefts there are myriad cases of the Sovereign Citizens stealing and theiving, not the least of which is Bundy's theft of $1,000,000 in grazing fees, along with all the others taking vehicles, property and and refusing taxes.
You know them. You've seen them. many of them carry a flag - the Gadsden flag usually, although they are starting to use this III flag as well.
And besides, any who committed crimes should be prsecuted to the full extent of the law and not glorified like Panthers are being glorified.
I agree that the individuals need to be prosecuted and the organization needs to decide if it was sanctioned or not - publicly.
That's what glorification of violent extremist looks like. I do not think any of these guys are going to be given bogus professorships anytime soon.
I do not know the stories of those you name, and who is glorifying them (the above meme does not, except to the extent that the group as a whole remembered snacks.)
