NORTH CAROLINA: WOMAN KICKED OUT OF LADIES’ BATHROOM BY POLICE AFTER BEING MISTAKEN FOR TRANSGENDER

Linda Hovensky, a 54-year-old resident of Charlotte, was tased multiple times by police officers as she was forced outside of the ladies washroom with her pants down and in front of a large crowd.

“I was taking a crap when police officers started yelling at me and telling me to open the door but I wasn’t finished, so they kicked the door open and grabbed me with my pants down and rushed me outside” recalls the victim, visibly traumatized by the latest events.

The woman represented a visible threat to police officers on the scene, explains Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department spokesman, Allan Jones.

“If the lady had not refused to come out peacefully of the washroom and explain calmly that she was in fact in her rights to be there, there would not have been an escalation of violence. The woman threatened police officers and that is what made things difficult for her and the agents that intervened” said Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department spokesman, Allan Jones, in a press conference. “She was hysterical and represented a possible threat to our officers who followed all proper procedures in this case,” he adds.

She was sitting on the toilet doing what people do when sitting on the toilet. Having the police interrupt defecation in its proper location could well be a tad upsetting.

These are all straight men who dressed as women for the purposes of committing crimes. We did not need bathroom laws against these types as they were all arrested for their actual crimes.

And then you have those of us who think that the toilet options should be 'cares' and 'doesn't care' with two stalls with solid locking doors and a sink, and then a very large bathroom with a few urinals behind a partition and lots and lots of stalls. The people with some reason to care about enhanced privacy for whatever medical, psychological, or religious reason get that, and everyone else gets to have enough stalls and urinals and no judgement for being where they are or are not.

The World News Daily Report specializes in the entirely too credible satire.

A few years ago, they published a story about body parts being found floating in a river in Ohio. The story seemed very matter of factual, except for a small part about paramedics administering CPR to a headless torso for two hours, because of a state law requiring them to treat drowning victims until declared dead by the coroner.

Someone new the supposed site shared the story on facebook, which set off a panic in the city, for fear of a serial ax murder on the loose.

Having two facilities where one would suffice seems pretty pointless to me. It's a throwback to Puritanism, and has no basis outside religious foolishness.

Indeed in parts of Europe, where Puritanism was never very influential, public toilet facilities have always been gender neutral; in Brussels, it's common to have one facility with a row of stalls and a urinal. Nobody dies. The sky steadfastly remains in place. The planet continues to rotate.

It's one of those things that is so pervasive that we never stop to think just how batshit insane it actually is, to build two almost identical sets of facilities, when one would be more than adequate to meet the human need to eliminate bodily wastes.

The very existence of gender segregated bathrooms stems from moral panic on the part of religious loons.

The pee-pee part of the law is a ruse to get the other parts of the law passed such as:

The new law did more than repeal the Charlotte ordinance. It made the state’s law on antidiscrimination — which covers race, religion, national origin, color, age, biological sex and handicaps — the final word. Meaning cities and local governments can’t expand “employment” or “public accommodations” protections to others, such as on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Minimum wage also falls under the state’s antidiscrimination law, so this law means local governments aren’t able to set their own minimum wages beyond the state standard.

That guarantees that such perversion motivated actions will notably increase in frequency if it is impossible to prosecute them (or even illegal to ask them to leave), due to laws that allow any person to simply declare their gender. In fact, it is plausible if not likely, that such men entering "women's" room for some sexual thrill will be more common in some areas than men who do so out of sincere female gender identification.

One might think that those who pretend to care about women being victims of sex crimes might care about that, rather then denying this reality because they cannot pragmatically reconcile it with their desire to be the banner waver for the cause of transgender politics.
