I found the last part of this video fascinating, in particular from 50:12 to the end. Basically he is saying that the 2nd amendment (as written by Alexander Hamilton) will no longer be relevant in a 5G society. Because Hamilton's purpose of owning a gun is supposed to be a last and final resort against a tyrannical government. But that is/will not be the case in a 5G world since financial and information is far more powerful than knowing what to do with a gun against an enemy you can not even see.

It is being realized we have just become woke how important protection of data is today. And that real freedom simply will not be possible without personal protection of data. We (western democracy) need to build a nationwide protected 5G network for the world. And do it before communist party of China does or they will control the world.

I agree that this should be a huge area of concern for Americans. The US has been falling behind in science. Our preference for magic (religion) over science is going to lower our standard of living compared to East very shortly if we don't start addressing it. Maybe the coming 5G revolution will be like the Sputnik and promote a scientific awakening in the US?

The whole guns-are-safety thing didn't work out that way for Alexander anyway.

But there's a relevant metaphor there too, for the present situation. We largely built this infrastructure as it is -- and weapons, once forged, will always want to be used.
