No, this is not an Onion article; this is real. They were the high bidder in the private auction of Infowars, part of the process to liquidate the assets of Alex Jones to pay off a tiny bit of the judgment against him.

The package includes not only the website, but also their mailing list. Oh, boy!

If they play their cards right, this could be the biggest mindfuck in history.

I can't imagine Alex Jones doesn't "get his revenge" under this coming administration though.
I CAN imagine that a lot of idiots with infowars bumper stickers are going to get their tiny brains scrambled while trying to make sense of what Infowars is now telling them.

I'm interested in seeing what The Onion has planned for the online video streaming side of InfoWars. It would be fantastic if they brought in someone like Jaboukie Young-White as the host, supported by The Onion’s top writers.

This implies that the previous audience keeps bothering with Infowars. I find that unlikely.
Personally, I wouldn't have invested more than their equipment was worth, second hand.

Who is going to tell them Alex lost?
NOBODY.

I realize that you prefer to believe that they have the awareness of a clam, but that's not true.
They tuned in because Jones agreed with their feelings and opinions. If that goes away so will they.

Depends on how slowly it goes away.

Not so. They believe the source not the content. The Onion only needs a thin veneer of similarity to keep them enraptured. Their usual level of facetiousness would put them well beyond the range of infowars’ mental midget followers’ understanding.

I agree. They don't have the awareness of a clam.
Do you think that they have enough awareness to stop bothering with Infowars?
I do.
Tom
Well, right-wingers were loving The Boys and only just recently realized it was punking them. So, it could take a bit.

That said, I believe Alex Jones was telling his listeners that Infowars was being taken over, so most of them shouldn't be surprised if they see Pepe in an ad for transgender inclusion.

i used to listen to Alex Jones. i researched a few of his claims and decided not to listen to him anymore.

So, for some reason, you think that Alex Jones fans will keep listening to Infowars?

I don't.
Tom
I figure a lot of them are outside right now with a razor blade and a bottle of solvents, trying to get that infowars bumper sticker off their Ram truck.

You know, when I just come to expect these poor responses, they are less disappointing. Did you even finish reading the sentence that you chopped or did you just get to the comma and impulse replied?

Hope they didn't get any tattoos.
