As if Saudi Arabia is a super feminist nation.
Even if that was the case, would that still justify that nation's war against the Houthis?
You realize the Houthis are an Iran-sponsored terrorist group that has basically taken over Yemen? This isn't Saudi Arabia vs Yemen, this is Saudi Arabia vs Iran in a proxy war in Yemen.
Are we supposed to consider proxy warfare a dire evil when Iran is doing it, and a virtue when we ourselves are doing it? I don't think anyone should be fighting colonialist wars in Yemen, but that most certainly includes us. We have less of a dog in this fight then Iran does, and no, they shouldn't be involved either, but they also obviously aren't going to stop providing arms to the Houthis as a result of our involvement in arming the Saudis, so how are our war profiteers supposedly doing any good for the Yemenis, or even for us? I'm glad we've largely withdrawn at this point, and think we should go all the way.
The point is that it's not Saudi Arabia vs Yemen.
