It's too bad that when politicians propose spending they're no longer expected to propose how they intend to pay for the additional spending. That was never the case before Dubya.

I can imagine Trump having to say how he's going to raise money by taxing or surcharging this or that.

Why doesn't he just ask for donations from his xenophobic minions? Surely they'd be willing to put their money where their mouths are. Think how much safer we'd all be. Our kids could play stickball in the streets again and ride their bikes alone down the nearest sidewalk because it will be like the good old days again, and all because of the safety of that big beautiful wall.

It never fails to impress me.

No matter how badly Republicans screw up anything involving money, the mainstream media still acts like they are the "fiscally responsible" ones.
