...deportations of non-citizen Muslims; a law of mass detention and 'de-naturalization' for the troublesome naturalized Muslims; convoys of illegals shipped to labor camps (to build the wall), then booted out.
While you force illegals to build the Great Wall II... If some die, are you going to force other illegals to bury them? YES - If no one claims their body.
After they die, will you expect the government to confiscate their gold teeth and jewelry? NO - Personal effects are shipped to nearest of kin.
When they get sent to the detention camps do you expect the government to appropriate their property? NO
Should they wear any special uniforms or markings on their clothing in case they escape for easy identification? YES - Prison Garb
How do you want to handle the problem of "half Muslims?" Maybe there should be a law about interbreeding? NO NEED - If they are not native born, and they are Muslim or came as Muslims, they are denaturalized and shipped to their country of origin.
So when is our Birmingham beer hall putsch?
But can a President be impeached just because he is a maniac?
Trump is a drooling idiot, but we have lots of idiots who shriek and clap when he does this sort of crap. I won't discount the possibility of him winning the GOP primary. On the other hand, in Syria, when you graduate from college, you get drafted. Or run. We could have a chance to get a load of well educated citizens who can tell us from first hand experience how bad forms of Islam are bad news and how to fight it.
In all seriousness, if Trump came in and tried to do this stuff I think he would be impeached.
But can a President be impeached just because he is a maniac?
But he's not dumb and he wasn't always such a blowhard (relatively speaking). He's an ambitious megalomaniac for sure. So my question is "is this rhetoric just to win the election or does he really feel these are 'great ideas'? IF he were to win the election (horrifying notion) would he really behave this way? I cannot imagine him acting this way behind closed doors. I'm just trying to prepare myself for the worst - this country has gone insane in my opinion.Trump is not an idiot.
Fast is right. Trump is smart and amoral...a dangerous combination. You don't think he can win..watch out! I didn't think the people were "stupid enough" to elect Nixon, Reagan, or either Bush. I won't entirely discount the chance of him becoming our fearless leader...and fearless he is...that seemed to be Hitler's forte too.
What frightens me is I'm seeing people who I never thought would jump on the Trump bandwagon coming out in support of him. People I know have been persecuted themselves. Is this really what was under the surface? I fear I don't know people at all.Imagine a Trump administration where he gets everything he wants. A border wall, signs saying "No blacks, no Jews, No Muslims." The Internet "shut off" as Trump recently put it. Mosques shut down a and/or under constant surveillance. Neighbors and friends being forcibly removed from their homes, their family split up and dropped out of country. An expanded security and surveillance state. All of this comes at great cost, so there's not a lot to spend on research, on innovation, relegating the US to a third rate power.
Looks more and more like North Korea the more I think about it. Awful. Can all our progress be undone in such a short time? I think it's possible.
This really is fascism, not hyperbole, and we need to tread carefully here. I wish I shared the optimism that some do, shared the same sense of humor that finds it funny. Yet every time I look, the ignorant bigots - the out of control monster that the Republican party has created is creeping closer, moving up in the polls and making more noise. This is not the time to be complacent because it couldn't happen. Imagine if it does, simply because no one takes it seriously.
It is. It was released by his campaign and reiterated. And the xenophobes on the right-wing are lapping it up.Guys, this can't be real.
I'm so glad I don't know a single one of them, that I'm aware of. And this is generally what I do fear the most about the Trump candidate. He is saying the most ridiculous, unconstitutional crap, logistically impossible mess, irrational plans and there are about 1/4 to 1/3 of the polled Republican base that are sitting around nodding, posting on the Internet 'Finally, someone that gets it.'What frightens me is I'm seeing people who I never thought would jump on the Trump bandwagon coming out in support of him. People I know have been persecuted themselves. Is this really what was under the surface? I fear I don't know people at all.
Guys, this can't be real.
