I admit not listening to her at any great length. Perhaps those things that I HAVE heard come out of her mouth only sound stupid, but are actually brilliantly dumbed-down soundbytes that her genius has made ready for consumption by her idiot audience.

Years ago on this forum (well back when it was Internet Infidels) I remember one of our members said he/she (can't remember who it was) was in the same dorm in college with Ann Coulter. Apparently, she was the same person then as she is now. Stirring up shit even back then.

Or she has a different political view and you interpret that as her being an idiot. I am about as far away from Coulter as you can get - she is basically a nativist, laissez-fair capitalist with Christian dominionist tendencies, and I am basically an old-school second-generation immigrant, socialist-leaning atheist. But I wouldn't be stupid enough to think she is stupid.

Oh for fuck's sake. She graduated from Cornell with honors, which is notorious for being the least forgiving of the Ivies when it comes to grades - they even had to set up suicide nets on their famous gorges because too many undergrads were jumping from the academic pressure. She then got her law degree from the University of Michigan, a top law school. I think you are confusing her being unintelligent with her not sharing your views.
Well, I don't know about everyone else, but that's pretty much my definition of unintelligent.
