What would the Trump Tarot deck be like?

Figure the Death Card would be a tweet.

The Death Card gets a bad rap in the movies. It's not necessarily a presage of Death. It's about the natural order of things. The king and the street sweeper are both subject to the same powers.

Trump's Death Card would be a tweet thanking someone for their excellent service, and saying what a great guy he really is, what a great job they're doing.

The Devil card is also popular in movies, letting you know it’s a horror show. Usually depicted with one or more victims of evil, like a man and a woman chained to the Devil’s feet, or two people trying to free a chest of treasure from heavy restraints. Thing is, the people are not actually trapped. Their bindings are loose. They can turn to walk away from the treasure. They’re there exactly because they want to be. If they’re in Hell, they chose Hell.

Trump’s Devil would show the Voters. Trump’s supporters. The ones who voted for campaign promises that were against their best interest, and had the audacity to look surprised when he came through.

The Fool is not an actual imbecile, but a truth seeker who starts out in ignorance. The story ekes out as he progresses towards enlightenment.

I think Trump’s Fool would be the media. The chart of Trump’s administration is not marked by accomplishments as much as revelations. Someone reports a story, Trump denies it, people around Trump may or may not back up his story, or outright disprove it, evidence mounts, the story changes, the spin cycles…

Every time you turn around, another person implicated, another email leaked, a new face at the podium...

The Emperor is the masculine principle in the deck.
A figure of power and authority, who has gained wisdom through experience and learning from the results of the actions he's taken.
I'm tempted to paint Ivanka on this card... Trump remains insulated against learning, mostly repeating the behavior that he campaigned with. Mostly, he's still campaigning for the election he already won. Bully, blame Hillary, and distract.

But I'd probably put Trump there, standing before a mirror. The mirror image of FFvC is a military emperor, in battle hardened armor, with cape, crown, scepter.

outside of the mirror, though, Trump stands in his tidy whities, the emperor has no clothes.
