To state the obvious.

Considering Trump's history of divorce and adultery which he did right after his current wife gave birth saying Conway's husband is embarrassing and damaging his family is what? Bizarre to say the least.

Trump cheated on all of his wives. Melania ain't nothing special.
 
I’ve read that a narcissist like Trump would be more likely to cheat around his wife’s pregnancy/childbirth because he is no longer the center of attention.

The speculation is that his mother was largely absent.

"Trump weighs in....." Perfect description. This bigoted lardass will never learn to shut his piehole. I guess it charms his base while it inspires ever more animus in the rest of us. "Weighs in..." like you couldn't predict every disgusting thing he'd have to say about his betters (i.e., 99% of the human population.) Try to imagine future historians quoting all of his comments. The trouble will be in compiling them all and fitting them into a manageable text; the correct artistic decision will be to quote them dispassionately and let them speak for themselves.
 
To be honest, his feud with Conway is just a stupid distraction. It might or might not be a stupid manufactured distraction. For sure it is taking up too much attention from very real and significant, long range damage this administration is doing.

His base - particularly the evangelicals - think the following about Trump's infidelities:

It doesn't matter because it happened before he was President/his personal life isn't anybody's business.

It doesn't matter because he's changed/Jesus forgives him.

It doesn't matter because at least he's not Hillary.

It doesn't matter because tax cut/economy.

Ha ha, he sure owned the libs.

Don’t overthink it. Trump attacks because he must, it’s a compulsion. Like his tv watching, he must stay on top of what his enemies are up to.

It’s anxiety management, not calculation.

The real question is, why is Kellyanne still there? Trump has never been known to tolerate divided loyalty, and Kellyanne is literally sleeping with the enemy.

If I were a totally sane and sensible President, I would be wary if someone privy to the workings of the Oval Office and the West Wing was in an intimate relationship with a political opponent. Why does a crazy paranoid President tolerate it?

My hypothesis is, Conway got Kellyanne to sign a killer prenuptial agreement. Leaving him is not a practical option and she needs the money.

Mine is she's reaping a whole lot of hush money and George has no problem with a sugar momma. And he's more than happy to add fuel to the fire.
