US wants other NATO members to spend more on Defence

Europeans consider the US a greater threat to peace than Russia.
No we don't.
Even with Trump? :)
Of course Europe thinks that, but that only because they are allies with US against Russia. Russians think opposite to that because US think what they think. Fact is, NATO should have been reformed after dissolution of USSR and Russia should have been integrated into EU and NATO in some kind or form. None of that happened because NATO needed the enemy to explain their existence. And please don't give me that Ukraine crap. Ukraine crap happened much later when Russia has already been assigned a role of an enemy and NATO occupation of Ukraine became part of the long term plan of reducing Russia to insignificance.
This is delusional fake news. It is based on Russia's historic delusions of grandeur. If Russian wants to be integrated into the EU and NATO, all it has to do is stop acting to get attention to itself and ask.

Polls: US Is ‘the Greatest Threat to Peace in the World Today’

On page 3 of their 32-page pdf is shown that the «major threat» category was selected by 35% of respondents worldwide for «US power and influence», 31% worldwide selected that for «Russia’s power and influence,» and also 31% worldwide said it for «China’s power and influence». However, on pages 23 and 24 of the pdf is shown the 30 countries that had been surveyed in this poll, in both 2013 and 2017, and most of these 30 nations were US allies; only Venezuela clearly was not. None of the 30 countries was an ally of either Russia or China (the other two countries offered as possibly being «a major threat»). And, yet, nonetheless, more respondents among the 30 sampled countries saw the US as «a major threat», than saw either Russia or China that way.

The US is not thought of well in the world.

It is a menace that has caused incredible problems with it's insane violence.

Despite the blindness of some.

We're not talking about the entire world, but Europe. From the same poll (page 9):

Pew said:
While Russia’s power and influence are not named as the greatest threat in any of the countries polled in Europe or North America, there is particular concern in Poland (65%). And 47% in the U.S. see Russia as a major threat, but there is a partisan divide: 61% of Democrats say Russia’s power and influence is a major threat, compared with only 36% of Republicans. Across all of Europe, a median of 41% perceive Russia as a major threat.

U.S. power and influence is seen as a major threat by a median of 31% across Europe. Spain, however, is an outlier, with 59% worried about the U.S. In six European countries surveyed and Canada, worries about American power and influence are up since 2016.

Yes Poland and ignorant Americans see Russia as a threat.

Poland we can understand.

In the US it is as they elect people like Trump.

And cheer on things like the 2003 terrorist attack of Iraq.

All other countries in Europe except Spain, Greece and Germany saw Russia as a bigger threat (Germany was very close though). And it's a bit condescending to say that Polish are "ignorant" because they disagree with your presuppositions. What makes Poland more ignorant than Spain or Greece? If anything, being occupied by Russia for large part of last century should give them far more insight into what's an actual threat, instead of just a perceived one.

Never said the Polish were ignorant. You can't read.

And what you posted does not support what you are saying.

Do we ever get to see your data?

The refugee crisis was caused by the war in Syria, which started almost a decade after the Iraq War. And the Syrian regime has killed more than 90% of the dead civilians in the war. You know, the regime propped up by Iran and Russia.

The Syrian Civil War was not started by IS, but by the regime shooting at protesters, who eventually started to shoot back. IS came later.

Started a decade after?

The US terrorist invasion took place in 2003 and the terrorist occupation lasted until 2011.

So the war in Syria started in 2021?

Since you are completely blind I can understand how you fear Russia more than the US.

And without a powerful ISIS, a US creation, the war in Syria would have been completely different.

Your distorted views of the world leave you unable to understand what we are saying.

While the invasion of Iraq had something to do with ISIS (we kicked out the oppressors in Iraq, they reformed as ISIS) the problems in Syria long predate ISIS.

And note that you're siding with a pretty evil group here.

What the US gave ISIS were regular military. High ranking military.

The US also gave ISIS a lot of money and weapons and easy recruits.

The US terrorist attack of the Iraqi people was a crime so great it's after effects have not ended yet.

We still have ISIS and war in Syria.

That's not the same poll you referred to earlier. The WIN/Gallup poll is from 2013, before the Ukrainian crisis, which explains Russia's low score.

I referenced the entire article.

The US has a substantial leads as we see.

Far greater than Iran or Russia.

The US had substantial lead before Russian involvement in Ukraine and Syria, including shooting down a passenger plane with almost 300 people.

The feeling about the US is dependent on the president.

GW was thought to be extremely dangerous to world peace. For good reasons. Obama was thought to be better.

And Trump is off the charts.

His insanity has a lot of people very worried and not just US enemies.

Poland had been constant pain in the ass before that. And it has been pain in the ass for everybody, not just Russia. They were "Russia" of the middle ages. And it was not just Russia who decided that Poland had to be stopped.

Polls are useful for getting yourself elected or starting a war. but they are not based in reality because they are subjected to local propaganda,
Poland has extreme right government which is widely criticized by EU counterparts for a number of policies. So their hate of Russia is understandable. And this hate has strong roots in history, easy to exploit if you are a politician in Poland

Is this supposed to be some sort of justification for Hitler's and Stalin's division of Poland?

"Poland had to be stopped" makes about as much sense as Montenegro starting World War III.

Notice how Grovel McTreasonpants went straight from antagonizing America's allies at NATO to furiously sucking Putin's cock during the press conference at Helsinki?

I'm sure there's a perfectly innocent, non-treasonous explanation for this behavior. Maybe he just likes the taste of Russian penis.
