You may have heard in the news about this crazy ass white guy that shot five people and killed one. Some pretty serious shit. He was obviously up to no good and very dangerous. Fucking dangerous! Out of his fucking mind dangerous. Luckily cops were able to find and capture him and no one else was hurt.

Officers using a stun gun subdued the suspected gunman, identified as Ryan Elliot Giroux, 41, at a vacant condominium where he had taken refuge, some four hours after the initial shooting, Mesa police spokesman Esteban Flores told reporters.
Hurray!

Hey! Wait a second!

I fucking give up! Now, some people may notice he was white and not black. Had committed aggregious crime (trying to kill half a dozen people) not jumping into the street. Holed up, who knows he was going to do and how armed he was not naked.

And those officers were able to use a stun gun and capture the man alive. It must be a fucking miracle.

Well you know what the NRA says. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a bag of Skittles, or a toy gun, or a bulge in his pocket where a gun might be, or no gun, or no weapon, or even no clothes at all is a good guy with a gun.

Madman on a shooting spree with a gun? Taze him, bro.

Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.
I called the Mesa police. They're going to go stun some black guy just to appease you people. They also said they'd consider killing the next effeminate white guy that fucks up.

Sounds dangerous. The guy could have dropped his gun, run unarmed at the police, overpowered them and grabbed their tasers.

I would have called on the army to level the block in a tactical air strike. I suppose they these cops wgo didn't do that just didn't care about public safety.

They waited 4 hours?

Justice delayed is justice denied.

You may have not noticed the point.

Things can be planned in standoffs that can't be planned in sudden confrontations. You're making an apples-to-oranges comparison here.

See I told you guys we should have waited for our resident tactical expert! He's played Call of Duty 1-7!!!

Reminds me of the SWANT team from Viz Comics

So why didn't the cops in the OP article CREATE the "sudden confrontation" like they did when they murdered Tamir Rice and John Crawford and so many other black men/children?

I know it is apples to oranges. This man shot six people and was armed. Some other guy was naked and unarmed.

It's the people getting shot that create the sudden confrontations.

Then your response of "Things can be planned in standoffs that can't be planned in sudden confrontations. " evaded the entire question.

Neither Tamir Rice nor John Crawfod "created the sudden confrontation". Cops did in both cases.
