Well, I was in the car, driving to the grocery store, and I heard Clinton's Campaign slogan ...

Thanks ZiprHead, I really enjoyed that article. It's a great summary of Former Secretary Clinton and the attacks she has faced by the right for 25 years.

Of course, I've disliked Clinton ever since she helped promote the idea that violent videogames make children more violent and tried to make regulations on selling video games equivalent to selling (medically proven addictive and health degrading) tobacco products. (See the Family_Entertainment_Protection_Act) It was stupidity if you ask me.Here's a direct quote, “We need to treat violent video games the way we treat tobacco, alcohol, and pornography.” Telling 15 year old kids they need a photo ID to buy a Tomb Raider game? Lame AND unconstituitional.

But that article helped me relax and welcome the inevitable nomination of Hillary. I no longer will loath the inevitable vote I will give her. She'll do.

I agree with this. I never liked Hillary, but I also never believed much of the trash talk against her. I refrain from bashing her (except for a comment about Bernie's penis being bigger than hers, hehe).

The worst thing about Republican Hillary bashing is that it's hard to talk about the true, real reasons to not vote for her, i.e., she's conservative, and virtually all of her support of liberal stances has been after the fact. After others did the work and suffering, after the population put our collective feet down, after the liberal view became widely accepted and fought for by others, Hillary would then support it and act like she supported it all along.

Other than that, she does have a ton of experience, and she does, as someone else mentioned, have a temperament suitable for a statesman. The problem is, she's a follower of liberal values, not a leader, not a changer, and not a fighter (except fighting Republicans, not in a good way but a distracting way).

The GOP can't attack Clinton on her real weaknesses. Those weaknesses are GOP talking points. ;)
