What are you watching on YouTube?

Kathleen Madigan standup. How did I not hear about this woman in the past 20 years???? Must-watch routine: An American Idiot in Paris. Love her delivery and general snarky outlook.

Tribute to the Dr Who character Sarah Jane, who had a spin off series about 10 years ago until she was taken by cancer

Going to watch this today. Yeah I know, guess I'm a masochist.

On Fridays, Andrew Lloyd Webber releases his plays on YouTube for free. They are available for 48 hours.

So, avalable from 7pm Friday to 7pm Sunday, but I don't know which time zone that is true for.

A couple of weeks ago we watched Jesus Christ Superstar. It was amazing. The characters were re-imagined. The costumes, setting, and transitions fascinated.

I'm not saying I didn't fast-forward thru a bunch of it. I'm saying that much of it was beautiful and surprising.

Last week we watched Phantom of the Opera. It too was surprising; the story changes so much from one version to another.

This week is a sequel to Phantom, that I'm told I haven't heard of because it was a flop.

Anyway, free, on weekends, innovative versions of Andrew Lloyd Webber productions, on YouTube.

I'm fairly certain I've posted this in other threads, but I'll plug it again: "Dust" is a channel that plays science-fiction short films, and now is the perfect time to go down the rabbit hole. For me, this is the best example of what they do...

There are currently 126 episodes in the Death Battle series. All kinds of interesting match ups with the reasoning behind who won.

Well if you like that then you might like Colin Furze. A former plumber, he now works at making crazy inventions for YouTube, which actually work!...... well mostly, but his hover bike did get off the ground

Played a lot of Tabletop Battletech/Mechwarrior on PC as a kid and stumbled onto this guy:

Considering the plethora of videos of niche fan service of someone unemotionally reading off a wiki page with picture, these Tex Talks are a breathe of fresh air. Although I readily admit they are an aquired taste.
