How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Boy, Polish government is retarded.
It’s better to stop the Russians in Ukraine, otherwise Putin will do what Hitler did to Czechoslovakia, - the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry in an interview with BILD

This is extremely strange to hear from them. Because someone helped Hitler. Mmm... Who, don’t remember?

On September 21, 1938, at the height of the Sudetenland crisis, the Polish authorities presented an ultimatum to Czechoslovakia, demanding the transfer of Zaolzye

Poland refused to allow the Red Army to come to the aid of Czechoslovakia, France did not fulfill its allied obligations.

On October 1, Czechoslovak troops began to withdraw from the border, and Zaolzie was transferred to Poland. Thus, Poland acquired 805 km² of territory and 227,400 inhabitants

But then it was Poland’s turn.

One quote was accidentally translated.
Your posts contain no substance, not even lame rebuttal.

The Arrest of Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Has Broken a Taboo
The arrest of Russia’s deputy defense minister, Timur Ivanov, at the height of the country’s war against Ukraine is a conspicuous sign of divisions within the Russian government. Influential groups vying for power are now attacking each other even more aggressively than before the war, and it’s no longer just lone players or minor representatives of the various clans who are at risk, but central figures too. And with Ivanov’s protector, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, in favor with Russian President Vladimir Putin, it seems even the patronage of the head of state no longer affords protection against interclan squabbles.

Yep, I checked (quick googling), it's WSJ, and yes it says what I said it says - Putin DID NOT order Nalalny's death.
So Alex Christoforou did not lie, ..... again.

So you see, it's a typical US neocon regime MO. They talk shit loudly, then quietly walk back, then talk shit again, rinse and repeat. Same story with RussiaGate, etc.
Result is that brain-dead half of the US population believes Putin eats opposition babies for breakfast and then go and vote for rotting corpses of Biden, Trump, McConnel, Pelosi, etc.

Remember Bounty on US soldiers? Of course you do. But do you remember that they eventually said it was complete BS?
Of course you don't.
And yet you still refuse to link it.

Oh, you CAN google.
That's obviously a joke in the video. I served in the army, people did funny shit.
You need to google harder.

LOL, video was without a sound when I watched the first time
It was a fucking joke.
You failed miserably! It does not even qualify for lame rebuttal.
You failed even to read comments on that video.

Russian President Vladimir Putin likely did not order the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, a senior U.S. intelligence official told The Wall Street Journal on Sunday.

Navalny died in a Russian prison in February, and foreign leaders quickly pinned blame on Putin for what was believed to be a political assassination. The official told the Journal that Putin is still ultimately responsibly for Navalny’s death, but likely was not aware of the timing or nature of it, or directly ordered it.

The viewpoint, reportedly commonly held between U.S. intelligence agencies, states that investigations have not found a “smoking gun” of Putin’s involvement.

So not such a sure thing as you stated. No wonder you did not provide a link.

That's pretty imbecilic.
US definitely controls the following countries from your list:
Ukraine
If we controlled Ukraine you would have been swiped off the face of the earth by now.
Exactly. The majority of the Russian army is facing off against a small portion of our equipment--and with restrictions on how it's being used. It would be very logical to target all the Russian gas/oil infrastructure they can reach but we ask them not to because of what it would do to world prices.

If Russia was actually facing the US there wouldn't be holding back like that. And an awful lot of important stuff would have gone boom a few hours after the start of hostilities as the Tomahawks hit. We refit four of our boomers with 7x Tomahawk in each of the Trident launch tubes. (24 tubes per sub.) That's enough to make a huge mess and they're as sneaky as they were in their former life--nobody can track them.

And with the state of Russian air defenses almost no Tomahawks would be intercepted. They don't come blazing in on ballistic trajectories, they come in subsonic and very, very low. You have to be overhead and either have look-down radar or thermal imaging to find them. Given terrain to hide in they're pretty close to undetectable to anything else. And the big SAM launchers are limited by the horizon, nobody has a SAM that can shoot something obscured by terrain.
In your wet dream.
Russia is not going to bother with US Tomahawks. We will nuke Warsaw first, then Bucharest and then go down the list o of puppet regimes.
And you think you can cross the nuclear line without the NATO powers shooting back?? To not shoot invites defeat in detail. I don't think Putin is nuts enough to cross that line.

I've hit the issue before, it has nothing to do with translation per se. The problem is the editor tries to preserve the editor state if you exit without saving. Usually this is because of some sort of problem and it's useful behavior. However, reloading the page, or going to another page of the thread, can end up with both what you meant to put there and what was left there.

I'm not sure what sequence of actions leads to two copies of the English (my only encounters with it have lead to duped posts, not two copies in one post) but translating the page is a de-facto reload and certainly sets you up for trouble if you're not watching for it.

No, that's NOT the issue here. That's not even issue. That was strictly speaking correct but somewhat unexpected behaviour. And it is a result of modern web frameworks where a lot of stuff is done inside the browser, not on the server.
