The feud between Greene and others was only an appetizer. Raskin's description takes the cake.
 
Greene is a troll... and then the Speaker makes with a "both sides" argument and then saying they need civility... while not smacking the person who was responsible down. Crockett did with best retort however, in the whole affair.

This reminds me much more of "South Park".

It should be noted these unprofessional representatives (who act like children) are being paid 3x the average income of the typical US taxpayer. That might be ok if we wanted bread and circus comedy but they are supposed to be making policy and not entertainment.

Jimmy Higgins will tell you Congress the people, and the political parties got along worse during the 60's and 70's but that's sure not how I remember it.
 
Perspective: MTG is an elected representative (of the people) in her voting district.

That could mean a lot (or a combination ) of things.

- Enough people in her district are batshit crazy
- Conservatives/Libertarians don't believe govt matters so they vote for entertainment value
- Democracy is messy

I'm sure there are more, maybe better, explanations than that...

This just gets more interesting...

Even lawmakers who aren’t in the committee got in on the action, calling out from the audience. That got pushback from one member of the panel, who alleged that “we have some members in the room who are drinking inside the hearing room, who are not members of this hearing.”

In their defense, I confess that as a troublemaker, if I were a member of Congress, I'd suggest to others to do a drinking game while watching the panel.

Please someone tell me how the cavewoman drooping forehead, meth-steroid-cocktail riddled small brain, and raised brow induce imagery of lingerie, pillow fights, and lipstick lesbians. Comer is sort of the understated comedy element in this whole thing.. The crusty, old boomer listening to the millenial "ladies" squabbling about stupid girl shit and not knowing the lingo or how to respond. I kind of sympathize with him.
