Thus fossils visible “on the top” of a mountain aren't generally shells deposited on an already-existing mountaintop by an extraordinarily high ocean. They're fossils inside former seafloor rocks that became the mountain.

potholer54, the person behind the annual Crocoduck Award, used to have some really great videos on his site, one about the "flood" and another about how the population "exploded" after Noah's Ark landed. Pretty funny with his dead-pan delivery.
