I knew Michael Schiavo and you are correct. It was awful. Also, lost in the whole Terri Schiavo saga is the fact that she ended up in that situation from a horrible and often fatal EATING DISORDER (bulimia). I always wished there was more focus on that fact.

Doctors do not perform gender affirming surgeries on minors anymore than doctors perform "third trimester" abortions.

My baby's body is scarred beyond repair from cutting. People simply do not understand. I'm so thankful that RIGHT NOW my son is safe - but if Alabama's law hits FL, he won't be.

Actually for our family, it took many years of pediatricians, general practitioners, psychologists and psychiatrists and child endocrinologists (and 16 years old) before my son could get gender affirming HRT. People trying to claim that it's being prescribed willy nilly has never lived it. And...

Watching Neflix's SEX EDUCATION to get to know Ncuti Gatwa, the new Doctor. It's actually very funny. Over the top...but I believe that is the intent. Gillian Anderson is hilarious.

No, it's not the "same thing". And what do you consider "late term abortion" and do you know why a doctor would perform one? Because no one wakes up one morning at 35 weeks and say.....'gee, I think I'll get an abortion today'. Nor is it currently LEGAL.

So I'm sure most of you do not care........but they've announced the new doctor as a young actor by the name of Ncuti Gatwa (pronounced Shoo-ti). Currently stars in the Netflix comedy/drama Sex Education (which is pretty good). I think he will make an excellent Doctor and with Russell T Davies...
