Born in the mid 1960’s in a Utah. Grew up next to the Cascades in Springfield, Oregon. Did my high school years in Pahrump, Nevada. Where I finally got the opportunity to learn computer programming on an Apple IIe. Circa 1982ish. I soon had a Commodore VIC20 and then a 64. I was well and truly hooked. I read about programming, thought about programming, talked about programming, learned about programming, and would often dream about programming. For me, coding is more than a technical skill. It is an art. Concept, design, create, debug, update, test, implement. I see coding as an artist sees painting.
A list of the coding, systems, or frameworks, that I have some experience with: PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, PERL, C, C++, C#, ASP.NET, REBOL, Delphi, Pascal, Java, jQuery, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, WordPress, vBulletin, Code Igniter, Skeleton, Media Wiki, Laravel, Node.JS, and many more.
I have dabbled in a great many things related to computers in general. Including, but not limited to, crypto currency and block chain, networks and networking, graphic and graphic cards, input device, storage, home built computers, displays/monitors, WIFI/wireless, and on and on.
I have been non-religious my entire life. Even when I was fairly young (about 8 years old) I thought the whole thing a kind of fairy tale. I dabbled in a few religions, and tried my hand at Mormonism. My family (close and extended and step family are mostly Mormon). I used to call myself an atheist. I do not use that now as a great man (Carl Sagan) noted that in doing so, you are making a positive statement about the universe that you cannot prove. I prefer Humanist and Naturalist.
