Nuclear is good for baseload. But you need more power in daytime. I think some rooftop solar in the electricity mix is good for the reasons I stated, but there should be ceiling. What I think is useless are big PV farms in the middle of nowhere. You lose the biggest advantage of distributed solar that way, and keep all the disadvantages.

The "goose stepping" phrase was from LD replying to our conversation in post #219. I never said you used those words. Your insinuation in post #216 that I should not criticize Biden lest I somehow aid "fascism" by doing so, does have "goose stepping" qualities though, so the Hound was not entirely wrong despite himself.

LMAO! I am not "infatuated" by her. I just think she is not nearly as stupid as she is made out to be. Just like Hillary or Kamala are not nearly as smart as they are made out to be. That does not mean I think that Sarah Palin is smarter than either of those two women. It's just a comparison of reality with the claims made about these prominent women.

I meant to write "governor of Alaska, mayor of Wasilla" and made a slip and wrote "governor of Alaska, mayor of Alaska". The word obviously carried over from the previous instance. How long are you planning of making hay out of this slipup? Should I repay you in kind and keep bringing up your confident ignorance of the Hastert rule for example? It is not "insulting" to say that for example Kamala Harris is not one of the most academically qualified presidential candidates. I did not say that she was not well educated, but that the hyperbole is not justified.

They are both crazy, even if some of the attacks on them have been unfair.
I am sure you have nothing but praise for say Cori Bush or Sheila Jackson Lee, even though they are among the dimmest bulbs in the already intellectually underpowered chandelier that is the US House.

If that is true, then we do not have meaningful elections now either. If there is no meaningful choice, we do not have a democracy.

Of course they may enter such a relationship being consenting adults. However, it is silly to insist that she must have really been attracted to him and that the relationship was not likely motivated by what he can do for her career.

When clouds come through the output from the panels drops considerably but the demand does not. Solar only reduces fuel use and nuclear fuel is of trivial cost. (And throttling the plant might very well actually be more expensive.)
