Don't pay much attention to the NBA, but couldn't help but notice the Cavs are out to an 11-0 start, including a thrashing of the then 7-1 Golden State Warriors, scoring a record 83 points in the first half, leading 83-42 at halftime!

Evan Mobley who had been playing like a rookie has really found his game this year. The seven footer is asserting himself more in the paint, driving to the basket (fun to watch) and shooting the occasional three. Darius Garland is more consistent this year and isn't hanging onto the ball, dribbling into traffic. And another surprise is a point guard coming off the bench, Ty Jerome who is really producing for the amount of time he gets on the floor. Everyone else is playing as well as they ever have. The bench is deep allowing Kenny Atkinson to give the starters more time to rest. Already, five games they've scored over 130 points. If the Cavs have a problem to work on it is third quarter doldrums.

That game with Golden State was something else. You would hardly know Stephen Curry was out there. Golden State's top ranked defense gets 83 points put on them in the first half. Beautiful.
I thought LeBron and the Lakers coming back here would make a good showing but the most exciting thing in that game was LBJ Jr. getting his first NBA basket. It was nice the crowd cheered and chanted Bronny. Clevelanders are all class.
November 19th we go to Boston. I hope everyone on both teams is available to play.

Cavs are 13-0. The punks on the left coast have the record at 24-0, so quite the while to get there. Regardless, what a start. Maybe they could make a late trade this season for a veteran that could add a little more depth... someone from SW California maybe. :D

Curry finished this game much like he did in the Olympics final.

Curry is a bum!

I hope Cleveland trade for him so I can appreciate his talent better.

Whom would have thought Wilson would make a (semi)comeback at Pittsburgh. Maybe it says something about coaching.

I got tired of Pete Carroll's ra ra college stuff. He lost control of Wilson who wanted to get him fired.

I like Tomlin's demeanor. He cracks a smile once in a while, but he appears stern and stoic. Not the kind of guy to take nonsense from a prima donna quarterback.

Wait... Pittsburgh has an NBA team again? :D

Speaking of which, Cavs beat the Hornet... no wait the Bobcats... wait... they are the Hornets again?! 15-0! All the while resting Mitchell. Cavs are one win away from the best start ever... ignoring anything those bums did in California.

What is incredible is how well the new manager for the Guardians did and how well, so far, the new coach is doing for the Cavs is doing. The Guardians was more impressive, at least so far, as that was done with minimal big buck talent. But starting 15-0 for the Cavs? Who'd have guessed that? 11-4 would have been nice.

And with losing their two best defenders in Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade for the second half both with ankle sprains. No word yet on their condition and whether they'll be available for the Celtics game. Again, four players with over 20 points each. Even deep bench player Craig Porter Jr. playing 21 minutes didn't do too shabby with a couple steals.
I'm giddy with excitement.

Sounds like someone’s running the Cavs in NBA2K25 with the auto-green cheat on. Who’s got the controller?

Unfortunately I won't be able to view the Cavs/Celtics match-up because I'll be at another game. Wait, there's a chance I could stream TNT on my phone...

I got to watch the 1st quarter and the last 10 minutes. Well it had to happen sometime, but still, only by one score.

Back to Earth.... for now. Celtics opened it up, but the Cavs responded. Appear to be for real. Now just need injuries to hold back.
