A day without stupid?

And only die-hard MAGAlytes still pretend to believe that ordinary people's health-care costs are as high as they are because all the money goes to transgender surgery for schoolchildren, illegal immigrants and DEI soldiers. Nobody else believes those lies anymore, and they immediately recognize the GOP's attempts to distract them with stories about furry pilots.

Other legislators should start meowing when they a force to interact with that piece of shit.

Now he tries to bully Norway into giving him the peace prize.

"The Nobel Peace Prize has been forever discredited by a handful of radical ideologues who are anti-democracy and really enemies of civilisation".

Because he didn't get the prize. What a mature man

That fucking Spiker. And whoever Al Sayad is. At least they pronounced George Soros properly. I wonder what's the difference?

One would think it is sufficient evidence of mental incapacity for someone sho starts a war to demand the Nobel Peace Prize.

And right now CNN has the breaking news banner "CNN has a banner right now that reads "News Alert: Lawyer used Trump organization email account while negotiating Stormy Daniels payoff" running.

It really does seem like John Oliver got it right when he called this Stupid Watergate - like Watergate, but everyone involved is stupid.

Watergate itself was incredibly stupid. Nixon was a shoe-in to win the election anyway, but he just had to find out what his political opponent was up to.

There isn't a word in the English language that describes the stupidity of Trump & Co. Maybe the Germans have a word--something along the lines of schadenfreude. A word that can encapsulates an entire stupid state of existence or something.

Nixon was a conspiracy theorist. He believed all kinds of crazy shit about his opponents. Smart crazy people cannot be reasoned with.

If Nixon's beliefs about the world were accurate then he would have been acting rationally. That was his problem

None of that has anything to do with Watergate. Watergate was the right-wing getting out of hand, breaking into a doctor's office to steal medical records to use against political opponents of the other party. What took Nixon down wasn't breaking into the doctor's office to steal medical records to use against political opponents of the other party. It was the cover up. The forcing of Nixon to resign was one of the last decent things the GOP would do (ever do?).

If I remember correctly Nixon's inner circle were... let's say... colourful. A bunch of loons. One guy thought Hitler was somehow misunderstood and a victim of a German conspiracy to make him look bad.

Pro-Collins ads target wrong Portland in GOP super PAC mix-up

Ads promoting Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) appeared to target the wrong city of Portland in a Republican super PAC mix-up, running the advertisements in Oregon instead of Maine.

“During a recent independent expenditure, our media vendor mistakenly placed approximately $25,000 in digital advertising in the Portland, Oregon media market instead of Portland, Maine,” a spokesperson for Republican Main Street Partnership (RMSP), the nonprofit affiliated with GOP super PAC Defending Main Street, told The Hill.

I like furries. I think its a fun community. I don't understand how anyone might feel threatened by furries? MAGA's are so sad

Anti Kaptur ads airing here now, she represents the NW Ohio barely not gerrymandered enough district that I don't live in. Says she is following the socialists. Trans and socialism is all the GOP has in their ads.

If they didn't feel threatened by furries they'd hardly talk about them.

Youngster who went on strike from school in Sweden joins protests about not being enough school in France.

Greta Thunberg joined the nationwide demonstrations which, now in their fourth week, have kept schools shuttered and imposed mounting pressure on Emmanuel Macron's debt-ridden government. 'Our future is being stolen from us and, as we have seen here, schools are not getting the investment they need,' she said"
