It would seem it is fair to say humans have wanted there to be a god

One could only guess I guess. Or were we trying to come up with gods as apes? It says strong atheist, so I figure you agree with the 6 million years of evolution.

It would seem it is fair to say humans have wanted there to be a god

Part of the reason there's 10,000 of them, make any sense? Hinduism I believe was always and probably still is the Native American today, I bet they still believe in that. I myself use to be Christian, but dropped that one realizing you could put it away like a book in 10,000. I have had...

    The Christ Myth Theory

Into like 10,000 religions, like those sort of things too I would assume. Like Christianity being popular? Don't believe in it just guessing. IDK, where am I. Oh is this the Christ myth? Sorry I got mixed up. Honestly I might study Japan's religion, just wondering what religions about what...

It would seem it is fair to say humans have wanted there to be a god

Subject is almost too long, but since about 6,000 years or so after evolution, I was reading that humans have been making up gods since about 6,000 or 7,000 years later. It was something I was skimming though when I was trying to learn more about religion. I do know that Japan believes in...

    The Christ Myth Theory

Other than the supposed Disciples who are they then? The people who saw Jesus hung on the cross?

People Cannot Grasp Not Thinking Through A God?

My brain still has to move my limbs though, even if they are not necessarily emotions. That last part made me laugh. The only so called (Faith) I have anymore is that of things which have some sort of solid evidence. Faith is what the bible and god is, I do not need them in my life. ;)

People Cannot Grasp Not Thinking Through A God?

Right. And my love side if for compassion I like a lot. I only ended up atheist as I was trying to strengthen a thing called (Faith) and lost all of it instead. But natural feelings and such became more important to experience, just wish more could get smart enough for it.

People Cannot Grasp Not Thinking Through A God?

I was only trying to suggest a person of religion has problems letting go. But that was a great read in any case. ;)

People Cannot Grasp Not Thinking Through A God?

Something which I broke free from after trying to strengthen faith. Had to comb through religious sites, before I got one scientifically talking about it. Next thing I knew my mind was filled with curiosity and how much more there was out there. Needless to say no faith ever got strengthened, as...

Jesus The Whipping Boy and Sin Eater

Some things were borrowed from Paganism though, but you probably already knew that.

People Cannot Grasp Not Thinking Through A God?

IDK, I am thinking too much? Or do I seriously wonder I guess some, that some people just cannot imagine thinking for themselves, through themselves, and by themselves, instead of through something first. Is it safe to assume most religious people cannot grasp not thinking through something...

    The Christ Myth Theory

That one word, (Every) is suppose to be (Ever). LOL, cannot fix it anymore. Made a couple errors. Consistencies should be inconsistencies. LOL.

    The Christ Myth Theory

Either way I doubt Jesus was every real, just one of them many things I already wondered about things. Just like how certain chapters were suppose to have been written by a certain disciple if you will. And that Jesus never even wrote his own words. Too many consistencies all together, that's...

When Was The First Time You Ever Questioned Your Faith?

I heard some about (Carl Sagan's COSMOS) it was brought up in an interview with Bill Maher and Seth MacFarline which every time I try to put it up anyplace, it gets removed for Copyrights. But I think it is Bill who says something about watching it baked. (Weed) Cannabis. Because Bill says...

When Was The First Time You Ever Questioned Your Faith?

Quite a lot sounds quite similar to things which I went through too. Most of my life I was in churches, Hill UCC was my choice but after asking about dinosaurs and got a sketchy answer, it was one of the first times I ever questioned it. Should have got it when I asked dad about Japan having a...

When Was The First Time You Ever Questioned Your Faith?

I go on that word nearly never, (Faith). I don't even have Faith that I will wake up tomorrow, I hope I will, but if I never do, I will never realize that I am even gone.

When Was The First Time You Ever Questioned Your Faith?

Thing is once you open your mind further you cannot stop it from wanting to know more. Actually grasping all of it and every detail would probably take over like 1,000 years just to grasp like 2% or so of everything. People like their little safe world, inside of a religion they believe in.

    The Christ Myth Theory

Of course Unicorns are real. LOL.

When Was The First Time You Ever Questioned Your Faith?

I actually wanted to send the same reaction you ended with, but it is not an option, but you may be right. IDK I just was not sure where it fit best, so if admins move it to someplace else, I will not have a problem with it. The 70s for me in age was still single digits, I didn't finally become...

When Was The First Time You Ever Questioned Your Faith?

I always tell people I only really became an atheist about 8 or so years ago, but that's actually more when I finally let things in really. The honest to goodness truth is, that maybe when I finally became an atheist, it really was not the first time I questioned my faith. If there's a topic it...
