[h=1]11 States With The Most People Working For Government[/h] November 13, 2015

During tough economic times, some states go the route of advancing infrastructure. What does this mean? A ton of new government jobs, both by the state and local governments. Sure, you’d expect places like New York and California to have the highest percentage of individuals employed by government, but this isn’t the case. Here are the surprising top 11…

A slide show.

How about that its almost all Red States, except maybe, New Mexico. Big Government Baaaaaadddddd!

So, your point is what?

Red states are better run and are better places to live?

Or having more government workers makes places worse?

Republicans keep shrieking how big government is bad. But of course, these Red states don't eat their own GOP dogfood. I just find this sort of political hypocrisy so amusing. When 10% or more of your states adults are working for some government agency, it seems a lot of people all of a sudden seem to like big government paychecks. There is that big disconnect between reality and proclaimed ideological ideals.

No. Blue states don't have to featherbed government jobs to keep their people from starving as the GOP strives to cut food stamps.

It's really amusing how dismal always pretends there are only two possibilities in any situation, even when people explain the others.

I'm really interested in learning more about the binary choice mental problem. Can anyone tell me a good source on the subject, and/or if it has a proper clinical name?
