I read that yesterday too. Very sad. I am not a country music fan, but this man had talent beyond belief. I swear there was not a string instrument he couldn't play spectacularly. Not a bad vocalist either.
Hee Haw was part of my childhood. Even on the really bad days it could make me laugh. But I never liked Buck Owens when he was on the show. He just didn't have the presence or talent of the other performers.
