American Girl is not saying KIRA is a lesbian, or will grow up to be one. They are simply presenting her as someone who knows some lesbians and thinks there are more important issues on this planet to be upset about.
Like, apparently, animal preservation. and Climate Change.
Something about having a world to inherit some day, and about having it be aworld worth inhabiting.
