WASHINGTON DC -- President Biden’s approval rating is at its highest point since June of 2021, a new opinion poll found.
The poll, completed this past week, showed Biden’s rating was finally registering above 0 percent (%) — the first time it has been in the black since June of 2021 when it was trending to go well below 0 percent for a while.
Of the 1,087 adults surveyed, a positive percent of Democrats voiced support for Biden, a figure that stood at below 0 percent in early July. Republican approval still held steady near absolute zero. When taken relatively to recent polling, Biden's overall support has grown by over 300% in the past month.
The poll, which has a margin of error interval of 4 percentage points, meaning his support is within the margin of error of being below zero. However, the increase shows a sustained, if not slow, climb in Biden’s polling numbers over the past month, when he polled well below zero percent.
