I have known for a while about blue light at night (and day, especially morning) effecting sleep patterns and here a new article about it:

So what I have done at home is to 25 watt colored amber and red light bulbs. I also try to have radio on instead of TV or the computer.
But I am thinking of getting a tinted blue blocking screen for my laptop. Anyone have a recommendation for the best color? what about combo of red and yellow?
Finally, I have a macbook pro (2012?) non retina laptop. Anybody else also have something similar? I am trying to tweak with the RGB filters to get blue dimmed for a setting to use at night. Not even sure if that is possible.
