The floodgates have opened again. Thank you Dr Ford....

Washington woman came forward with allegations against state Sen. Joe Fain (R) in the wake of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Seattle resident Candace Faber first revealed that Fain allegedly raped her the night of her college graduation in a Thursday tweet.

“@senatorfain, you raped me the night I graduated from Georgetown in 2007,” she wrote in the tweet addressed to the Republican. “Then you had the audacity to ask me to support your campaign.”

“I’m done being silent,” Faber added.

Now the accused has demanded an investigation....methinks he doth protest too much.

from the article said:
“I absolutely deny what Ms. Faber is accusing me of,” the legislator said. “Any allegation of this serious nature deserves to be heard and investigated for all parties involved. I invite and will cooperate with any inquiry. I ask everyone to show respect to Ms. Faber and to the process.”

I disagree. Guilt or innocence aside, this strikes me as a dignified response, showing respect towards the accusers claim and not acting like an infant crying "witch hunt". It's almost word for word what Al Franken said when he was accused. If Kavanaugh responded in a similar manner when the allegations against him first rose instead of presenting a 65-women-petition and antiquated calendars, I doubt public opinion would be so heavily against him right now.

2007, this may be a test of how long telecoms and ISPs actually keep records. It may actually be possible to know the exact times and cell tower locations of both of these people.

There are times when being pugnacious is the right call. but this was not for Kavanaugh now.
