I'm not an educator nor do I have children so I haven't really looked that much into Common Core. Wondering what your thoughts are.

I can only speak as a parent with kids in the program (3rd grade and kindergarten). The program started this year.
My youngest is doing stuff in kindergarten that her older brother didn't get until 1st or 2nd grade. And he is doing algebra and geometry in 3rd grade and doing very well in both. And this is a kid that struggled with math previously.
Is it directly the result of Common Core? I don't know, but whatever they are doing seems to be working very well.
I know a lot of teachers don't like it, but I can't really speak to that.
