Here's an interesting article published by the Jama Network.
They looked at excess deaths. That is comparing mortality rates from a normal year with 2020.
Conclusion: While old people die more from Covid-19, they would have died anyway of something. The young people killed by Covid-19 would likely not have died from anything in the same period.
