Weird question, right?

So...apparently there is this Internet rumor that got out of control that liquor stores closed early due to a governor's executive order the night before Thanksgiving.

The above link was shared 57 times to other conservative social media groups and then those were shared to other groups and individuals...and eventually I saw it posted in my facebook from a qanon relative I have.

I've read two news articles that said only bars and restaurants serving liquor were closed and that liquor stores were open.

Here are two articles:
https://www.inquirer.com/health/cor...ictions-bars-restaurants-liquor-20201123.html
https://www.pennlive.com/business/2...dnesday-evening-closed-thanksgiving-plcb.html

Now a fundamentalist conservative who happens to have been vacationing in Pennsylvania at the time is telling me that the liquor stores were actually closed.

So, I'd like to ask a rational, disinterested person who was on the ground at the time who may know.

Did the Pennsylvania governor shut down liquor stores on Thanksgiving eve or not?

I would think that our state liquor stores would normally be closed on Thanksgiving, same as on lots of other holidays. But I googled around to be sure and that was indeed the case. They will be closed on TG 2021 also. Pretty standard stuff. Wolfe's actions didn't affect liquor store hours.
