So remember when that lawyer told a judge his client had affluenza to try to defend him or mitigate his crimes and sentencing? ...

There's now a lawyer claiming his QAnon insurrectionist has Foxitis, also called Foxmania.

What is interesting is that during a video conference, his client keeps swearing and engaging in outbursts. I don't think it's an act because during the insurrection this guy went pretty crazy.

You can read the full article here.

Personally, I actually partially agree with the defense on this--propaganda is a strong factor in what happened. Various people were vulnerable, like they had political tendencies toward right-wing thought, then they lost their jobs or had to deal with the agoraphobic stresses of the pandemic, locking themselves up watching videos all day until they went down a rabbit hole and mentally never came out, but physically it convinced them to run around like lunatics.

They have to be held to account, but so does the Pied Piper, i.e. Trump, Roger Stone, Q, Giuliani, Bannon in as much as they've done something illegal or created all these cases of Trump Derangement.

This is a good snippet of the view because they cover some other Fox News & Friends propaganda issues, like vaccine hesitancy and defamation suits by Dominion and Smartmatic. Foxitis is apparently an issue of personal responsibility and individuals apparently aren't supposed to trust what they hear, but they keep hearing it and no one is stopping the slander, libel, and fraud. We're facing bigger problems than insurrection like vaccine hesitancy, but insurrection will also come again.
