GOOD OMENS

I also watched it. While I love Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, I found this adaptation slightly boring. Tennant and Sheen were great, just about everything else less so.

Basically, worth watching for the Crowley and Aziriphale show.

i liked it overall but found it to be one of those "death by a thousand cuts" kind of deals - there were so many little changes that my brain was being constantly pulled out of the show to compare it to the book and i found it overall quite distracting.
they also excised the bikers from the end of the story, which i found incredibly disappointing.

i think if this had been 10 episodes so it could breathe a little more, and a bunch of the changes were reverted so the book fans (or, at least, me) weren't constantly being put off for absolutely no reason, it would have elevated it from 'cute but inessential' to 'one of the best adaptations of all time.'

Bit of a derail. What devices are you guys using to view Amazon content? I got a Firestick a couple months ago and everything is much darker. I have the TV brightness settings at peak but things are still darker than other sources. Looking on the net, many complain about the same issue, and it's worse with a 4K Firestick, so they say. Do you guys have that problem with your devices?

I have my computer hooked up to my flat screened TV, and so had no problems. Occasionally I watch things on an older IPad, and have had no problems, though I didn't watch this particular show that way.
