Trump commutes former Rep. George Santos' prison sentence

The former New York congressman had been sentenced to seven years in prison. In a social media post, Trump said his commutation would release Santos from prison "immediately."

I really wish our laws just outright made it legal to slap someone in some particular, immediate, and vaguely ritualistic way, when someone uses "cut context" to lie, according to a well known social convention.
