Implicit Social Cognition

I'm sure some of you have tried these Harvard Implicit Tests before. I always enjoy taking them now and again. They are not perfect, of course, but they can provide interesting feedback.

Just now, I completed one on gender and apparently, aren't I wonderful, I associate the 'softer' qualities (support, empathy, assistance, etc) and the 'hard' ones (leadership, control, etc) equally with men and women.

See this current thread about why these tests are not merely imperfect but utterly meaningless and bad science.

The OP links a critical article, and I make some additional critiques.

Most of the issues apply equally to the race, gender and other tests.
