I read several of the articles in the link and agree with you. The slant you get from "Missingpeace" tends to predict we will always be missing peace. If an IAF warplane flies over arab territory and encounters a surface to air missile, you can only conclude that it would have been hit by a DEFENSIVE WEAPON. I can see where the IAF might not like that, but when you drop ordinance on people you can always expect they will try to stop it.

It's a given that no source is perfect, but Reuters is a much better source than Missingpeace.

I don't see anything in that article that should come as a surprise to anyone. Iran has been under sanctions for years, and for years its been skirting sanctions through illicit procurement of the materials it needs. The Iranians will eventually succeed in developing a nuclear weapon and delivery system, and the way things have been going, it's going to be sooner rather than later. That is the main reason why certain countries feel it is necessary to reach a deal with Iran now, before Iran gets The Bomb and has even less reason to be compliant.
 
Hell with it. I say give scary ME people scary weapons. Gives us an excuse to nuke whoever whenever. Statistics. We got thousands with missile systems with accurate delivery systems. Iran may, at some future date, have a couple Hiroshima similar nukes that are more likely to blow up in Iran than elsewhere. It takes more than wheat and yeast to make bread.
 
Reading the Reuters article, the claims seem quite modest. The US has blacklisted several companies for dealing with Iran during the sanctions period. An Iranian procurement network (i.e. not Iran directly) has not dropped links with two of these companies. Is that really surprising or unexpected?
 
The title of this thread is a misnomer! The day those people should ever be trusted is the day the West gives in to islofacicism!
