BALTIMORE, MD -- A study that was looking in to the benefits of doing absolutely nothing for patients with COVID-19 has been halted after several of the patients in the study died suddenly due to complications of having COVID-19.
The study, which was funded by the NIH, was the brain child of the President's son-in-law Jared Kuschner. He explained the treatment plan as an "idea so crazy, it had to work". Unfortunately 30% of the patients has died compared to 8% who were on the placebo, and the study was halted.
Doctors involved with the study have indicated that they were going to start putting all patients in the hospital on the placebo based on the promising results it showed as part of the study of doing absolutely nothing.
